Bishop Frank James Murphy, 87 of Charlotte, NC passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026 at Novant Health Main. Celebration of his life will be held Saturday, May 23, 2026 at New Waves of Joy Baptist Church 4739 E. W.T Harris Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28215. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and the Service will follow at 10:30 AM. Military Rites and Interment will be in the Beatties Ford Memorial Gardens 11201 Beatties Ford Rd. Huntersville, NC 28078. May 26, 2026 at 11:00AM. Public viewing will be Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Long & Son Mortuary from 1:00 PM -6:00 PM and Friday, May 22, 2026 from 10:00 AM – 6:00 pm.
