My AMAZING Godfather "Willie Little", I truly give God the Glory that HEAVEN is real and that I will see you again one day. As an only child, as I always told you - when my Father (Herman Thomas), selected you as my Godfather he Blessed me with a wonderful Godfather. I will miss calling you and you calling me, you and I telling one another that we LOVED one another, me praying for you in person and over the phone, calling you Dad after my Father went to Heaven, and us laughing out loud at many things. I LOVE YOU SO VERY MUCH. I am so very grateful to God that HE allowed me to Pray with you the week you went to HEAVEN. I telephoned and asked the nurse to put the phone on speaker, and I told you that I LOVED YOU and YOU told me that YOU LOVED ME. Even as I type this tears are falling from my eyes. I imagined when you saw JESUS and the Angels Welcoming You into Heaven (what a beautiful smile you had), and how my parents rejoiced (Herman and Jane Elizabeth Thomas) when they saw you entering the gates into Heaven. Oh, what a joyous celebration. You always told me how very proud you were of me. Dad, I too was so very proud of you. I talked about you to my friends :-). Indeed, you were so kind, gracious, giving and thoughtful. I remember how when we would pray together, I would say Dad let's make sure that if JESUS came tonight, we would both know we would go to Heaven. You repeated after me...."Heavenly Father in the name of JESUS, I am a sinner and I need a savior. JESUS, I ask you to come into my heart and I make you my LORD & SAVIOR. I ask you to forgive me of my sins, and I thank you that from this day forward I will live for you. Thank You that my name is written in Heaven. In JESUS NAME - AMEN". Dad, as it is written in the Bible, this scripture describes you -----"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. "Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing."" Godfather, as I know JESUS said to you "Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'" I Love You, Your Goddaughter, Michelle ~

I remember Mr. Little as our dedicated and committed Sunday School superintendent at Memorial Presbyterian Church. He fought a good fight. God bless.

Cousin Willie has always been a wonderful gentleman... I will always remember him for inviting me to come live with him and his family after I graduated college in SC (nearly 40 years ago). He wanted to help me get started as a new graduate and in the city of Charlotte. These are the heartfelt ideas that he had towards family. I am thankful to have visited with both Willie and Kendrick within the last couple of years and communicated by phone from time to time. Praying for peace, strength and comfort for all of the family and many friends and formers students/educators in the days ahead. Cousin Willie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him, Our loss here on earth is heaven's gain. With Sympathy... Love, Lynn and Michael Stoddard
