Dr. Bynum built a life of distinction and service, and his passing is an incalculable loss to our organization, the profession of optometry, and to many lives he’s has touched over the years. His dedication to the profession was unparalleled and he will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue forever.

I was referred to Dr. Bynum by my former Bank Manager ( Polly Brewer) at Wachovia Bank Freedom Drive, Charlotte NC. She noticed the errors I made , She made an appointment for me with Dr Raleigh Bynum .T his was my first time getting my eyes examined. I still remember his words to me "You don't know you can see better!" It was the best doctor visit of my life. Thank you Dr. Bynum and Dr. Richard Shank.
