I was saddened to hear of your passing, Dr. Dias. I was on campus for Homecoming and asked my classmates if anyone had seen you lately. You were one TOUGH professor for the chemistry majors, but you did always say you were preparing us for what comes next. Please know that you did prepare us well. We became doctors, researchers, and teachers of science in NC and across the country. Thank you, sir, for your toughness, and the time you gave to share it with some youngsters who were naive enough to think we could change the world. We want you to know we didn’t just hear you; we listened. Rest in power and peace, Dr. Dias.
