Mrs. Leak will always have a special place in my heart. As a young kid growing up in St. John Baptist Church, I remember her as a stately and godly lady, a kind and gentle lady. She always greeted everyone with a smile and a kind word of encouragement. She was a bright star to many, in the church, at school and in the community. What an incredible legacy! I still remember going over to the Leak's home as a child and they were always so sweet and kind. Beverly, I am sad to hear of the passing of your mom. Mrs leak was a beautiful lady inside and out. I will forever remember her smile and kindred spirit.
