Mr. Thomas Elwood Asbury, 82 of Charlotte, NC passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Novant Health Medical Center. Public viewing will be held Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Long & Son Mortuary Chapel from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Graveside service will be Friday, May 22, 2020 at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 1504 W. Sugar Creek Road  Charlotte, NC 28262, at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to the Hood Theological Seminary, 1810 Lutheran Synod Dr, Salisbury, NC 28144 for the Thomas E. & Doris R. Asbury Scholarship Fund.
