Lucinda Stinson

Ms. Lucinda Stinson, 78, of Charlotte, NC passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at her residence. Public viewing will be held Friday, April 24, 2020 at Long & Son Chapel from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm.

Ms. Lucinda Stinson, daughter of the late John Taft Stinson Sr. and Emma Stinson was born May 29, 1941 in Charlotte, NC. On Tuesday, April 21, 2020 she quietly departed this life at her Charlotte home.

Ms. Stinson was a member of St. Paul Community Missionary Baptist Church. She was an usher and member of the Hymn Choir. She attended and graduated from Torrence Lytle High School in Huntersville, NC and a Charlotte Business school before retiring from a 22 year career at First Union National Bank. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

Survivors include a very special son, Tyrice Sonta Mason, four brothers, William Stinson, Hezekiah Stinson, Odell Stinson and Reginald Miller Stinson, one sister, Shirley Stinson, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
