Sylvester Lee Cureton

Mr. Sylvester Lee Cureton, 66, of Pineville, NC passed away Monday, January 20, 2020 at Novant Health Main. Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Long & Son Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am and the service will follow at 12:00 pm. Mr. Sylvester Lee Cureton, the late son of John A.Cureton and Willie Mae Dunn Cureton was born October 19, 1953 in Union County, North Carolina. He departed this life on January 21, 2020 at Novant Health,Charlotte, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Hubert Lee Cureton, William James Cureton, James Edward Cureton and one sister Mary E. Cureton Lindsay. He attended the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System. Sylvester worked as a concrete finisher for the most of his career. He leaves to cherish his memories, one brother John A.Cureton of Charlotte, NC and one sister Willie Bell Cureton of Pineville, NC, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
