John Eugene Alexander, III.

Mr.John Eugene Alexander, III. 52, of Charlotte, NC. passed away Sunday, September 15,2019 at his residence.Memorial service will be held Monday, September 23,2019 at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church 2301 Statesville Ave. Charlotte, NC 28206.Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm and the service will follow at 2:00 pm.

Mr. John Eugene Alexander, III was born to the late Dr. John Eugene Alexander, Jr. and

Diane Young Alexander, on July 26 1967, at Andrews Air Force Base Hospital, Maryland.

He passed away at home on September 15, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.

John attended Our Lady of Consolation Catholic School, Charlotte Catholic High School, Morehouse College, and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management, from Livingstone College, in 1991. John began his career in Finance and Project Management. He fulfilled his dreams of becoming an entrepreneur, by creating Southhouse Entertainment and Alexander III Modeling Agency, Inc. John was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity,Inc.,and Prince Hall Freemasonry.

John was preceded in death by his father, his sister, Teresa Abdum Muhaymin, and his grandparents, Otis and Lavenia Young.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Maria; mother, Diane Young Alexander; daughter, Jaelin Chenelle Alexander; son, Christopher Davis and wife Sidra; granddaughter, Noelle; sister, Tamara Alexander-Artis and husband Jason; sister, Stacey Alexander Harriss and husband Nicholas of London, UK; niece Asia Artis; aunt and uncle, Ann Marie and Hezekiah Simmons of Pittsford NY; cousin, Gregory and wife Vanessa Simmons; cousin, Jennifer and husband Daniel Svensson of Buffalo, NY; mother-in-law, Mildred VanDiver; step-son, Shavea Stephens; sister-in-law, Tamara VanDiver, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
