Raymond Fewell

Raymond Fewell ,82 of Charlotte,NC.,passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at his residence. Funeral service will be held Friday, January 4,2019 at Long & Son Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm and the service will follow at 2:00 pm. Military rites and interment will take place on Monday, January 7,2019 in the Salisbury National Cemetery 501 Statesville Blvd. Salisbury, NC 28144 at 1:00 pm.

Raymond Fewell of Charlotte, NC passed on December 28, 2018 at home.

Mr. Fewell served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years. He also worked for Wells Fargo Armored Services for 18 years. He retired from UNC- Charlotte in May 2018 after 26 years of service due to illness.

Raymond was an a avid golfer and has received several awards and trophies, playing for various churches and sports organizations.

Married to Doris “De” Fewell for 46 years. They blended their families of daugters: Regina Daniels (Joel), Texas, Deborah Gregory (Calvin), Charlotte, Wendy Fewell, Texas, Millie Mills, Charlotte, Angela Bryant, Charlotte, sons: Jeffrey Bryant, Texas and Kevin T. Reid, Charlotte, 13 grand children, beloved niece, Emily Friday, four great-nieces, two grand-nephews, beloved sister, Ms. Marcielle Miller, sister-in-law, Mrs. Rose Fewell. Extended heavenly family: beloved mother, Ms. Amy Fewell, brothers, Jim, Lonnie, twins, Roy and Robert.
