Mr. LeRoy Simpson 68 of Charlotte. Went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Novant Health. He worked for over 20 years with the Mecklenburg County School System. He was born September 21, 1948 in Mecklenburg County. He was a member of First Mount Zion Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and flee marketing. He is survived by his daughters. Renea Boulware, Angela Davies, Latandra Okogbenin (Cali), Marie Wilson (Ian); six (6) grandchildren and host of nieces and nephews, His sister Robbie Clark (Robert), James Simpson (Ruby), Fred Simpson, Willie Simpson (Valerie), Al Simpson (Brenda).
Home going services will be held February 14, 2017 at Long and Son at 12:00 noon; The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00 prior to the service at the Mortuary. Interment will be at York Memorial Park.
