Mildred Beal Jones

Mrs. Mildred B. Jones 95 of Winston Salem, NC. passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017 at KBR Hospice in Winston – Salem, NC. Funeral service will be held Friday, February 17 , 2017 at Calvary Christian Church 3001 Kilborne Dr. Charlotte, NC 28205. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am and the service will follow at 12:00 pm. Interment will take place at Sharon Memorial Park. Mildred McEachern Jones was born February 23, 1921 to the late Bishop W. D. Williams and Blossitee Williams in Lauren, SC. She retired from Mercy Hospital after 16 years of service. Mildred gave her life to Christ at an early age. Mildred was a faithful member of Calvary
Christian Church, she had a love for the young people. She was known to her grandchildren as “Fatty”. Mildred moved to Louisville, Kentucky to be closer with her daughters for several years.
Mildred relocated back to Charlotte, North Carolina with her family where that’s when Mildred became ill. She lived a long life, of faith. Mildred moved in with her son Vernon (at) until she was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
