Mr. Charles Alexander Rosebrough of Charlotte. passed away Tuesday November 29, 2016 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House -Charles (Butch) Alexander Roseborough, 66, of 11717 Red Hickory Ln Charlotte NC, was born August 11, 1950 in Rock Hill, SC. He departed this life November 28, 2016. Charles was (1) of 7 children born to the late Cora Drayton.
Charles is survived by his soul mate and friend Anita Roseborough, (5) daughters Regina R. Taylor (Richard) of Mooresville NC, Regan Roseborough of Charlotte NC, Carla (Evette) Ramirez (Erik) of Charlotte NC, Vermel Michelle Brimmer (Anthony) of Charlotte NC, and Donna Bankhead (Floyd) of Charlotte NC. He also has (4) surviving sisters and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Charles graduated from Garinger High School 1968 and Charlotte Fire Academy 1977. He was employed by Charlotte Fire Department and Charlotte Mecklenburg School system.
Charles enjoyed reading, running, playing tennis and chess, watching football and listening to music during his free time.
Charles was a member of Sanctuary Charlotte Church.
