The Obituary
Yolonda LaChaune Lawrence was born on December 21, 1971 in Charlotte, NC to Annie B. Lawrence and Samuel Jordan. Yolonda peacefully entered into eternal rest on March 15, 2022.

Yolonda then furthered her career by moving to the Washington DC Metro Area, working as a contractor for the Department of Defense (Boeing and Leidos/formerly SAIC) for 25 years.
At an early age, Yolonda was baptized and attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Charlotte, NC. While living in Durham, NC, she was a member of Russell Memorial CME Church. Yolonda’s mission in life was to glorify God in the area of administration and service while assisting others in various assignments directed by the Lord. She also enjoyed inspirational writing, studying the Bible, listening to different genre music and serving others. Her favorite choir was the Mississippi Mass Choir and her hymnal was “Love Lifted Me”. She was a woman of very few words. One of

YOLONDA’S PSALM (Pattern after Psalm 23)
In February 2021, my Pastor, Rev. Dr. Clifford A. Jones, asked our church (Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, Charlotte, NC) to write and submit a Psalm patterned after Psalm 23. Listed below is the Psalm I wrote and submitted to the church. Please be blessed!
Yolonda’s Psalm to the Lord:
The Lord is my Healer. I have everything I need. I am made complete, free and whole.
He comforts me with His right hand. I abide under the umbrella of protection of His Love.
He supplies all my needs according to His riches in glory. I suffer no lack.
I find rest in the secret place of the Most High away from all hurt, harm and danger.
I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.
Surely grace and favor with God and man shall follow me all the days of my life. I am seated in Heavenly places with Christ Jesus far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.
Thank you, Jesus, for healing me.
A tool for Jesus, Yolonda L. Lawrence
I choose to be a tool for Jesus so I won’t be a fool for the devil. Amen!
