Dillard &, I met at Livingstone... We played tennis, basketball as well as cards. As always Dillard was quiet, but very competitive. Our time together, although during our earlier years, was most enjoyable. May HE who is all Holy continue to Bless, Keep & Comfort his family & friends while we morn Dillard's passing.

Thoughts and prayers go out to the Dillard family during your time of loss. While Walter has left us, I am sure that he will be remembered by family, friend and all those that he has touched. I am sure there is much to celebrate in life time with us!

So sorry to see Walter's obituary. I met Walter in 1974 while working at St. Paul Insurance and we became very good friends. We played tennis and basketball (YMCA) together for the next several years until he transferred to Alabama. We were close enough for him to invite me to his bachelor's party. While Walter was quiet, he was competitive. He was a nice, intelligent man. I will be unable to attend the viewing but trust God will be with his family at this time.

To: Dillard Family My prayers and thoughts to each of you in the death of Walter. I got to know Walter at Livingstone College, Salisbury, NC. He was a business major, a star football player, member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and Class of 1974. May our GOD continue to bless each of you in the days to follow. Gilbert McRae, Class of 1974 Charlotte, North Carolina
