I worked with Ted at WCNC TV and always admired his calm manner, positive attitude, and when he spoke to clients, he really did sound like a pastor. We loved him here and I know I speak on behalf of all my co-workers when I say how deeply sorry we are for your loss. Ellen Hitchens

Dearest Babbie, I am so sorry for your loss. I just found out this morning (01/04/18). Ted Johnson was a hell of a man, someone I thought you would have a wonderful life with. I think you did. Tell TJ and Mae of my sorrow and my love. M.y love and condolences to you. I know a lot has happened to make your life sad, but a lot has happened that made your life wonderful. Be strong and depend your faith to carry you and the kids through. PS. I did not know Ted was sick, though Louis James had sent me an email on 12/28/17.

Babbie, TJ and Mae I wanted to share my condolences with you of Ted’s passing! Please know that as someone that has known Ted from his days as a student of SC State he was truly a positive, supportive person and one Great sense of humor. It truly saddens me of his passing because we have lost a true soldier of what is the BEST of what is to be a Friend and Great Human Being. I will always be here for you guys as part of your extended family! Yours in Christ, Louis
