Suzanne was born on October 19, 1945 at U.S. Marine Hospital in Staten Island, New York. She is one of two daughter’s born to Hilda Sealy and William Edward Francis. She graduated from high school and went on to attend Fordham College in the Bronx, NY were she received a Liberal Arts degree. She went on to have a very productive job career throughout her years and later became a foster parent. She touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity, and maintained her trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.

Suzanne is survived by her sister Babette (Keith) Glover of Queens NY: daughter Kim Davis, daughter Wendy (Kenneth) Watson; daughter Dina Bailey’; son Christian (Leah) Bailey; daughter Jamie (Shawn) Turner.

She had ten grandchildren Corey Boyd (Sakina); Queena Shepherd; Nygel Boyd (Hannah); Arielle Harris (Mike); Landon Bailey; Ronald Clyburn IV; Brittany Bailey (Rodney); Dimetre Bailey; Tamia Bailey and Rakim Davis. She also enjoyed thirteen great grandchildren; nieces and nephews and host of foster children she enjoyed raising.

She was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness and was baptized October 30, 1971. She attended many congregations over the years but was a recent member of the Brookshire congregation located in Charlotte, NC. Despite her limitations she remained zealous in her preaching work and her service to Jehovah.

She loved listening to music and was often seen with her headphones on singing, watching TV, sewing and constructing clothing, shopping, collecting and preserving antique’s to be passed down to her family.

Suzanne was a poem writer: “Life’s Song” – My life is a song, each bar holds many notes, Notes different but wonderful.  Each one blending into the next. To make my life rhythmic, charming, enchanting. A song that penetrates and lifts one to a zenith. No special call or tune, just a hunting, eclectic, melody that entices me to lovelier dreams. The song drowns me in waves of love, walks me through fields of happiness, Floats me on clouds of peaceful existence to a place where all is pacific. What more could I want from a song or life!

Job 14:14-15

If a man dies, can he live again? I will wait all the days of my compulsory service until my relief comes. You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands.
