Mrs.Shirley Scovell Bajoie, age 92, a resident of Charlotte , NC, passed away on Thurs., Aug. 8, 2019 surrounded by her loving children. Shirley was born on June 13, 1927 to Estelle and Edward Scovell Jr. in New Orleans, La. Shirley was the owner of the Algiers Daycare Center in New Orleans, LA. Service will take place on August 13, 2019 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 7200 E. WT. Harris Blvd., Charlotte, NC. 28212 Visitation is at 10:00 am, Service-at 11:00 am. Interment is Friday , Aug.16, 2019 in Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held Friday, August 16,2019 at the Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy.Marrero, LA.70072 from 10:00am-12:00pm.
