Sarah was one amazing, compassionate person. I met her while writing the history of the Mecklenburg Bar. I heard her give badly needed advice to many people seeking legal help. She was always calm and attentive and always helped.

Sarah was one of the kindest people that I have ever encountered. It was a true pleasure knowing her. She will be greatly missed by all, who she touched with her generous spirit. Rest in peace.

Sincere Condolences To The Darby Family, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." (Revelation 21:4) May your pain and sorrow soon be replaced with wonderful memories of your cherish loved one. With Loving-Kindness and Peace,

When I first learned of Sarah's passing, I was devastated and I envisioned a world that was a little dimmer because she was not in it. Today, I realize how much of her inner light she has passed on to others. I see little Sarah lights within us all that brighten our days and make us better people. Sarah always reminded me to appreciate the good in people and to laugh and love and smile. What an amazing gift. What an amazing woman. I miss her terribly but am so glad she was a part of my life. Safe travels dear friend.

Sarah was one of the most friendliest people that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Sarah was always kind and joyful. I will forever be inspired by her willingness to serve others. She always went above and beyond what was expected. I am certainly going to miss her and her inspiration however, I will never, forget the precious jewel, Sarah Darby.
