The Pendergrass family and loved ones of Sammie have my deepest sympathy. Revelations 21: 4; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. Psalms 34:18 The family is in my prayers and I offer my heartfelt condolences. To Sammie's family: Words cannot express my deep sadness upon learning of Sammie's passing. Sammie was in my HVAC class at the Urban League and I must say that he was one of the most pleasant, well-mannered and respectful young men that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I was one of two females on the class (not to mention one of the oldest), and Sammie would always be there to help me whenever I needed it. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. I pray that God gives you grace, peace, mercy and strength during your time of sorrow. RIP SAMMIE !! YOU WILL ALWAYS HOLD A VERY SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART !! Yours in Christ, Saphronia D. Austin

Sammie was a very special person who touched our lives and will have a warm place in our hearts forever. He will be missed by all and remembered for his silent strength, sense of calm, unselfishness, and gentle smile. I am proud to say I had the opportunity of knowing him. There is peace and comfort to know that he is in the presence of the Lord. Our prayers, love and support reach out to you in warm embrace.
