Mr.Ronald Edward Miller 74, of  Charlotte,NC passed away Thursday, April 8,2021 at Levine & Dixon Hospice House Aldersgate. A Private Celebration of Life for Family. A WALK THROUGH PUBLIC VIEWING for family and friends will be held Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Long & Son Mortuary Chapel from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm.

Mr. Ronald E. Miller, 74, passed peacefully on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at
Aldersgate after several days in the hospital, quietly celebrating his birthday with family
and friends. On April 18, 2021, a walk-through viewing was held at Long & Son Mortuary
Chapel. A celebration of Mr. Miller’s life was conducted at Gethsemane Memorial
Cemetery and Gardens on April 19, 2021.
Ronald–on1y child of Mrs. Elizabeth Wilson- was an historic first-class product of
Good Samaritan Hospital, Friendship MBC, Fairview Homes, Brooklyn, Charlotte schools and
West Charlotte Senior High School. He was a civic leader in Homewood Acres, Second
Ward/West Charlotte Men’s Breakfast Club, West Charlotte National Alumni Association and
Unique Lodge No. 85, P.H.A. For 37 years, Brother Miller- a 33rd degree Mason and Past
Master-led tirelessly in Unique Lodge and other Masonic houses including Golden Hue, as Past
Patron.
After retiring from Mack Trucks and being self employment, Mr. Miller worked at
Mallard Creek High. He avidly supported the Mavericks, the Lions, and the
Panthers. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, outdoor grilling, gardening, detailing the truck
and manicuring his lawn.
Left to honor his legacy are his loving wife, Norma L. Miller, son Tony B. Alexander
(Michelle), daughters Michelle L. Miller, Monica L. Wilmer (Shawn), Monique M. Ford
(Marquish); grandchildren Jayden and Jazmyn Lawrence (Shericka), Tonise, Antonio and
Antonique Alexander. He is also survived by brother Alvin Wallace, sistersin-
law Brenda Wallace and Andrea Wallace, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Miller will be long remembered for his charisma and perseverance.
