Share your Memorial with Family & Friends

To my cousin Priscilla and all of my cousins in Charlotte, My heart is heavy and share your grief at the loss cousin Robert but we rejoice in knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Whenever we visited Charlotte NC, I would look forward to seeing Robert because he was my historian. He would show me places like the house our grandmother and mother lived in. He would tell stories of days gone by. Then he would brag that “Priscilla makes the best coffee”. Visiting Charlotte will never be quite the same with out him. With all the love we have, from Wayne & Kim Jones and the rest of the family, May God Bless and Heaven smile upon you!

Gone but not forgotten. You will always be remembered in my heart. Words left with me were.... Trust In the Lord.

Mr. Forney was such a nice man and loved his family! I remember him at South Tryon Presbyterian Church, he will be surely missed! May God Bless His Family during this time of bereavement!

I met Mr. Forney over 40 years ago. I was a young mother with three children. He was behind me in his car and noticed that I was having trouble stopping my car and he came to my rescue. My breaks had failed and I was terrified. He became my mechanic on that day, keeping that old Ford running for several years. I thanked God many days for blessing me through Robert and others. My deepest sympathies go to Mrs. Forney and the children! Rest in paradise Mr. Forney!

Dear Priscilla and family, Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time. Robert was a true friend. We shared a lot of good times together in the car business. He was always upbeat and positive and I always felt better after just being with him. His faith and belief in the lord were always present. He was trustworthy, kind and generous. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. Robert was the best car detailer in the business. He had his own special secrets and would never share them. Robert was the best in his trade! Sincerely, Jim & Ginger Harris. 8-4-21
