Mr. Robert Edward Bates, Sr. 60 , of Charlotte, NC passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at his residence. Celebration of  His Life will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Parkwood Institutional CME Church. 802 Tom Hunter Rd. Charlotte, NC 28213.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 am and the service will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the Sunset Memory Gardens 8901 Lawyers Rd. Charlotte, NC 28227.
