Wow. This is tough. Had the opportunity to work with Reggie for several years. We used to laugh, joke, sing old songs, and just talk throughout our work day. He actually thought that I could sing, and would always tell me “You need to grab the mic”. Smh. An overall great dude with a wonderful spirit. You will be missed. Heaven’s choir has just gained a lead bassist.

I am honored & blessed that I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Reggie Dennis with his mom Theresa Dennis. I went with his mom to hear him play at a restaurant & what a awesome guitar player he was. My dear friend Theresa please accept my sincerest condolences

I didn't know Reginald Dennis very well, but he always seemed like such a nice man. I'd like to offer my condolences to his family and to his lovely mom, Theresa Davis. May he Sleep in Peace!

Hard to believe this has happened. Reggie was a good man and a fine musician. We were in a band together for a few years and we were fast friends from that point on. He was a musical scholar and a sweet soul. I will miss him, and loved him. My thoughts are with his other friends and family. A big loss. Rest in peace, Reggie.

May God comfort all of Reggie’s friends, family and especially his sweet mom Mrs. Dennis during this very difficult time. I am able to smile as I remember all of the great memories that were shared between Reggie and I. I will forever hold those memories close to my heart. With deepest sympathy, Cheryl (from Roanoke Rapids)

For the past eleven years Reggie was the bass guitarist at the Fellowship place Church. We loved him dearly. He was a man of few words, but his musical talent was exceptional. A true gentle giant who will be missed by many. I can see him now thumping a tune, head bobbing and eyes shining bright. Rest on dear brother.

I've known Reggie for many years. I met him when he lived on Nations Ford with his Uncle Frank. We would talk for hours. We kept in touch and talked a few times a week. We were just talking Tuesday of last week and Thursday. Then I heard he passed. I thought this wasn't true, just had spoke to him. It had to be another Reggie Dennis. Unfortunately, not. There are so many questions I still have, but the memories of him will last forever in my heart. I'll see you friend one last time before we meet again one day. Love you like a brother Reggie.
