Mr. Reginald Hunter 65 of  Charlotte, NC. passed away Thursday May 11, 2017 at his residence. Memorial service will be held Friday May 19, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall Jehovah`s Witnesses Congregations 8505 McIlwaine Rd. Huntersville , NC 28078 beginning at 2:00 pm.

Reginald Hunter of Charlotte, NC was born on October 4,1951 to late Thelma Reid in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated from West Charlotte High School in 1969. He retired from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte after 27 years of diligent service.

Reginald’s most valued attribute was his relationship with Jehovah God. He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in March of 1988, and was known for his faithful service up until his death. He peacefully fell asleep in death at home on May 11, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his loving mother; Thelma Reid.  He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Lynda Hunter, sister Beverly Boyd, brother Jerry Hunter (Shirley), daughters Demetrius Hunter, Tiffany Sims (Octavius), Raven Boyer (Antron) and one son Reginald Aaron Hunter II and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and loving relatives and friends.
