Mrs. Neila Marie Bivians – Thrower,64, of Charlotte,NC. passed away Friday, April 26,2018. at Levine & Dickson Hospice House Huntersville,NC. Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 2,2019 at Long & Son Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm and the service will follow at 3:00 pm.

Neila Marie Bivians, age 64, departed this life peacefully on Friday, April 26, 2019, in Charlotte, NC at the Hospice Care Center.  Neila was born in Westwood, NJ on June 23, 1954; daughter of the late Charles and Betty (Rivers) Bivians; Neila grew up in Paterson, NJ where she attended Paterson Public schools during her elementary school aged years.  She was a graduate of the Passaic County Technical & Vocational High School.  Neila then pursued a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN); she had a nurturing, loving and caring spirit for people, especially the little ones.

Neila was a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend.  She enjoyed music, dancing, interior decorating, the latest technology , Discovery Channel, love for animals, enjoyed traveling and life’s adventurers every chance she got.

Neila is survived by her husband Robert K. Thrower of 20 years of marriage, her brother David Bivians, his wife Stacey Bivians, their children Emery Bivians and Jaron Bivians.  Her daughter Kiesha Sellers, grand children Zuri Sellers, Jade Marie Sellers and Steven Sellers, Jr. and his wife Allysa Turo, their children, Neila’s great-grandchildren Azeryah and Zaden Sellers. Neila’s son Christopher David Bivians and grandson Elijah Bivians.  Her two nephews, Corey Moore, Charles “Chaley” Bivians and two nieces Sydney Delaine Bivians and Jody D. Richard. She leaves a host of cousins, extended family and friends.

She is predeceased by her sister Jody Bivians and brother Charles Bivians.
