I had the privilege of working with Naomi at Berryhill. She was a joy in every way. She was born to be a teacher. She gave every student, parent and staff unconditional love, respect and understanding. The memories I hold so dear in my heart always include Naomi. May she rest in peace.

I extend my deepest condolences to the Davis family. I will always remember the sweet, sweet spirit of Sis. Davis and her servanthood to the Charlotte Association of Ministers' Wives and Ministers' Widows. She had a deep love for the Lord and such a caring spirit for others. She will truly be missed.

Sending my heartfelt sympathy to Naomi's family. Only happy thoughts and memories come to mind when I recall our time together at Berryhill Elementary School. She was a magical teacher who let every student know how important he/she was to her. Yes, she taught the curriculum and held them to high standards, but she taught them so much more about loving and caring for one another. After leaving Berryhill some 25 years ago I always took her example with me and held her up in my mind as the consummate teacher. I know that God has welcomed her and holds her in His arms of peace and comfort.

My sincere condolences to Johnetta and John on the loss of your dear mother. She was like a second Mom to me as we carpooled together 10+ years to Berryhill School. I learned so much from her as a teacher, minister’s wife, and new mom. She was a gift from God that I was blessed to have in my life. Will miss her but have peace that she is with your dad, her parents and siblings. Blessings to each of you.
