IN DUE TIME, GOD SHALL WIPE AWAY ALL TEARS TO OUR DEAR COUSINS AND FAMILY: OUR HEARTS ARE HEAVY WITH GRIEF AS WE MOURN THE HOME GOING OF COUSIN MATTIE. WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS HOW WE ARE FEELING RIGHT NOW, ESPECIALLY SINCE WE CAN’T BE THERE WITH YOU. LOSING A LOVED ONE IS NEVER EASY AND COUSIN MATTIE WILL BE MISSED FROM OUR FAMILY GATHERINGS BECAUSE SHE LED THE WAY IN SHOWING US ALL HOW TO LOVE AND CARE FOR EACH OTHER. AS WE LOOK AT THE PHOTOS FROM PAST REUNIONS, WE ARE SAD BUT ALSO FILLED WITH HOPE KNOWING THAT WE WILL MEET AGAIN. THERE WILL BE A GRAND FAMILY REUNION WITH OUR LORD AND SAVIOR AND THE ENTIRE FAMILY, WHO MADE THEIR TRANSITION BEFORE US. WE LOVE YOU ALL AND ARE SO THANKFUL THAT GOD SAW FIT TO PLACE US IN SUCH A LOVING FAMILY. WE PRAY THAT YOUR FAITH IN GOD AND THE FOND MEMORIES OF MATTIE WILL KEEP YOU IN PERFECT PEACE, AND THE TEARS YOU SHED TODAY WILL BE TURNED TO SMILES AS YOU REMEMBER HER AND WHAT SHE MEANT TO EACH OF YOU. PLEASE KNOW THAT WE ARE HERE FOR YOU ANY TIME YOU FEEL THE NEED TO CALL ON US. REST IN PEACE MATTIE, TAKE YOUR REST, YOUR WORK HERE IS DONE. WE LOVE YOU. LOVINGLY SUBMITTED BY THE EVANS COUSINS HAZEL HARRIS, HAMPTON, VA, BERNICE TAYLOR, BECKLEY, WV, DOROTHY DENSON, BECKLEY, WV, LEONARD IRIE EVANS, COLUMBUS, GA, MARTHA GERALDINE MONTGOMERY, WASHINGTON, DC, AND THEIR FAMILIES
