I was sad to see Mary White passed away. I worked with this dear lady at WSOC-TV from 1998-2000. Her desk was right across from mine and we faced each other. We were lunch buddies and would go out to eat and shop at lunch. She had a great laugh and a wonderful smile. She loved her family and spoke with such pride about “her boys”. She was the newsroom Mama that we all looked up to. Her job kept her hopping but she got it done. What a great lady. I miss her. Laura Lynn Roth Charlotte, NC
