Today I just found out at Marlo died I’m deeply hurt to hear this! My condolences to his family he loved them very much. Especially his siblings who he often talked about. His brother that came over often. The love he had for his mother! He was a very caring person. I moved to Charlotte about 13 years ago and Marlo was one of the first people I met here. He was a great father figure! He always gave me good advice on my family! We always stayed in contact talking every week! The past month and two weeks ive been out of town and I’ve been tryna contact him and every attempt was failed! Lastnight I decided on my way back in town I would stop by his apt. Got there And nobody answered. I called the leasing office today asking about him and I was told he had passed and gained his wings to heaven! Marlo you will be forever missed my friend!

To the kindest, gentlest and loving soul I've ever had the pleasure to call my nephew! You can now rest in heaven with your mother and one of the most loving sisters I have! You loved and cared for her until the end! You can now rest in peace with her and I can only imagine the conversations and stories you will share with her! I love you Marlin Lockhart! Your Uncle, Benjamin F. Lockhart

Love you Uncle Marlin. You've helped raise so many of us. Same as Mama. I pray I'm able to promote and teach my son those family loving qualities. You never excluded anyone a true heart of gold definitely a reflection of Lottie Mae Lockhart. You will be missed dearly. I promise you when i do get a change to travel back to the states I will have a roller skate day in your honor. Love you

I truly will miss my conversations with Marlin speaking of the joyous love of God. God must have needed one more good soldier. Sending blessings to Marlin's family.

When I Think of Marlon I think about how much fun we would have when we would have family gatherings. He was a nice man. A fun loving man with a great sense of humor. He will be missed.

No one can prepare you for a loss; it comes like a swift wind. But take comfort in knowing that he is now resting in the arms of our Lord. Joy comes in the morning! With Love, Evangelist Cecelia Dixon Dallas, Texas
