Mrs. Lisa Renee Coad, 58 of Huntersville, NC passed away Sunday,October 13, 2019 at Atrium Health Main. Funeral service will be held Friday, October 18, 2019 at C.N.Jenkins Presbyterian Church 1421 Statesville Ave. Charlotte, NC 28206.Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm and the will follow at 1:00 pm. Interment will be in the Resthaven Cemetery, Wilson, NC.

Lisa Renee Coad went on to Glory with her father Jesus Christ on Sunday, October 13, 2019. Lisa Renee Coad was born on May 6, 1961 to the late Arthur Coad and the late Virginia Coad, of Long Beach, New York.  She graduated from Long Beach High School in Long Beach, NY in 1978.  On June 25, 2010, she relocated to Charlotte, N.C.  Where she lasted worked as an Insurance Specialist for Employers Insurance.  Lisa also attended Hofstra University where she studied Business Administration.

Lisa joined C N Jenkins Memorial Presbyterian Church Charlotte, N.C. under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Jerry Lytle Cannon, where her Faith grew in God.    She loved not only being a member, but she put in the work in her ministry and of the community.  Lisa was a very happy person and a giver at heart, no matter where she went.  No one was a stranger in her eyes.  She also implemented Project Excellence, as she was a part of the Circle 4 and Girl Talk group.   Her famous quotes were: “I’m on the guest list”, “You said that kinda fancy!”, “I can’t, I can’t”, and “I’m about to party like a rock star!”.  Her lasting memory to her grandbabies is “I Love you to the moon and back and I miss you already”.

She leaves to cherish her memories her son: Akil Coad (Gloria) of Long Beach, NY.  Two loving granddaughters: Camila Coad and Emilia Coad of Long Beach, NY.  Six brothers: Larry Eason of Saratoga, NC; Johnny Eason of Wilson, NC; Christopher (Cindy) Coad of Long Beach, NY; Anthony Coad of Charlotte, NC; Darryl Coad of Bronx, NY, and James Coad of New York; Three sisters: Hattie Coad of New York, Wanda Freeman (Rodriguez) of New Carrollton, MD, and Angela Bell of Brooklyn, NY.  Two maternal aunts: Shirley Moore of Greensboro, NC and Marie Harris of Jacksonville, NC. Her special friends; Kenneth Alexander of Belmont, NC, Edna White of Queens, NY, and Drenna Nash of Charlotte, NC.  and two special cousin LaTisha Eason of Wilson, NC, and Patricia Huggins of Brooklyn, NY, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other friends.                                        Peace!
