My condolences to the family. I knew Rev. Dr. Lee from our days matriculating at Hood Theological Seminary. His father knew my maternal grandfather, the Rev. Silas Johnson Sr. My prayers for your comfort and peace.

To the family of Rev.Lincoln C Lee and also to the members of Silver Mount Baptist Church, my heart aches for the pain you're feeling in the loss of your Leader. I know that this is a great loss to so many and his presence will be greatly missed. I've visited Silver Mount on many occasions and have always felt welcomed by both Pastor Lee and the church family. One of the many reasons I enjoyed Silver Mount was Rev. Lee had a sense of humor (LOL)....yes laughter from the pulpit!! He was a great all around kind of guy, and I'm sure the pain of his passing will be felt for a long time. I bid you God's speed!

Everyone at Henderson Grove Presby Church in Mint Hill, where Rev. Michael Marsh is the Pastor, sends our deepest sorrow to the Lee and Coleman family in the passing of Rev. Lee, whom we affectionately called Linc. He was lovingly associated with our church along with his family where he shared his “special” gift of preaching the word with Henderson Grove that we will always be grateful for. Linc, job well done!!

"A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. (Proverbs 18:24)" When I think of Dr. Lincoln C. Lee, the word 'Friend' resounds with thunderous applause. This man of God aided me in becoming the pastor that I am still becoming, threatened to fail me during my ordination if I "gave another long answer", and often advised me to keep the gospel message of Jesus Christ clear, concise, and to the point. After I was ordained, Dr. Lee would check on me from time to time just to see how I was doing and to give words of encouragement that I needed to hear. My last conversation lengthy conversation with him was at a UMBA event hosted by First Mt. Zion Baptist Church a few years ago. After God used me in the preaching moment, Dr. Lee pulled me aside and said, "Boy, I didn't know you could preach like that? I see that you are going to be alright after all." We in the clergy community and greater community are going to miss his jovial personality, giving spirit, and caring heart. Rest easy Sir and we will catch up again by and by in the hereafter. We are praying right beside you Lee family & Silver Mount Baptist Church family. We love you in the Lord and we know that God is able. Yours in Christ, Rev. E. Shon Hagwood, M.Div. Senior Pastor - First Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church
