Mr.Lawrence White Cousar,65, of Charlotte,NC. Passed away Sunday, February 23,2020 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House Aldersgate . Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 29,2020 at Long & Son Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am and the service will follow at 12:00pm. Interment will be in York Memorial Park Cemetery 5150 S.Tryon St. Charlotte,NC 28217.

Mr. Lawrence White Cousar departed this life on Sunday, February 23, 2020. Born on December 14, 1954, he was the fourth child born to Mr. John White and Mrs. Letha McCloud White Cousar.

As a young child Lawrence moved to Charlotte with his mother and stepfather Wilbert Cousar. He continued his education in the Charlotte Mecklenburg system. Once Lawrence was able to be gainfully employed, he found his niche as a restaurant chef.

Mr. White Cousar was preceded in death by both of his parents, his beloved step father, five of his seven siblings, Mr. Bobby White, Mrs. Linda White McGrant, Mr. Carlton White, Mr. Joseph Bernard White, and Ms. Marilyn White Hoots.

Mr. White Cousar is survived by his special friend and longtime partner of 37 years Mr. Clarence Hinson, his two remaining siblings, Mr. John White (Geneva) and Mrs. Aletha Bright (Tony). He is also survived by his 14 nieces and nephews, 10 great great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends
