Kewanee ("Kee") was a beautiful person, daughter, wife, mother, and friend, but most important of all, she was and is a 'Kingdom Citizen;' we had the privilege and opportunity to come to know her over the last 8-9 years in Charlotte. She was a 'giver' who selflessly gave of her time, self, and talents of the Arts, poetry, plays, and drama at her church, Champion Kingdom Center. She was also a leader in her community serving as President for Olympic High School's Booster Club and a team Mom on the Varsity Football team. She had a love for our youth and was always willing to spend time with them as a mentor. She knew her purpose and assignment and served her gift while courageously fighting her illness along the way. She made a difference and impact to all who knew her. We will miss your smile, presence, and fellowship but we are NOT "without hope" because we look forward to seeing you again as Kingdom Citizens. If you want to see her again, don't do 'religion,' instead seek a relationship to re-discover who you really are and become a Kingdom Citizen. We Love You. - The Gowen Family - James, "Angie," Trey (James III), and Faith - - Matthew 6:33 - Daniel 7:18
