Sandy, Diamond & Family, I was so shocked and sad when I heard about Jon's passing. He was such a cool guy right from the start and I could tell he really loved his family. It was so much fun playing cards with yall and I will always remember those moments at your home when I was in town. Rest in Peace Jon "Black". Love, your extended family from CT, Valencia(Lynn), Maurice, & Robert

Jon, "BIG RED" as you known to my family, we'll remember your laughter, your zest for life, your caring and giving ways we mourn today, but we know that joy comes in the morning. We pray for God's peace and comfort for your family. Rest In Peace Jon, and may Light Perpetual Shine Upon You.....The Gregory Family.

I was shocked to hear the news that Uncle Jon had departed this life, but I know that he's in a better place resting without any worries. I pray for his family as they take this journey and I will continue to pray for their strength.

Hey Mr. Crapps...it has been a long time since we have seen each other. The last time we spoke was in the late 80s when we were stationed at Patch Barracks, Germany. At that time, you were in the process of retiring. WOW, time tends to pass us by without blinking. I want to thank you for the great stories and jokes you use to tell us. We were ALWAYS in stitches and cracking up. Your teddy bear smile and laughter will truly be missed. GOD has call you home because your job on earth is done. RIP my fellow soldier, friend and VETERAN. Laugh and tell jokes with the heavenly angels.....Earline Pugh (Retired Veteran)

Be it known that Sgt Crapps was a fine soldier. Be it known that Brother Nobel Crapps was a respected Mason. Be it known Jon Crapps was an outstanding father and held strong family values. And be it known and never forgotten that a true friend has gone to a better world. The candle will always be lit. Peace Jon.
