Mrs. Johnnie Mae Feely age 98 of Charlotte, NC passed away peacefully with family by her side on February 19, 2016 at Pineville Rehabilitation & Living Center.She was born in Chester Co.,SC . To the late John Bull and May Bell Crosby on January 3,1918.She was the granddaughter of the late Chad T.Roddey to whom she often referred to as “Papa”. Ms. Feely attended private schools in New York and completed some college coures at Friendship College in Rock Hill, ,SC. In 1936, Johnnie Mae married Mr. Roy Feely and was married for 27 years until his death in 1961. They were blessed with seven children to thier union. Johnnie Mae  was a devoted home amker , She loved to grow ,sew,quite, and make ceramic figurines. She served as a volunteer at the Charlotte Town Terrance helping with the meals and other community projects for the residents.She was a faithful member at her church and an active member of the Anita Stroud Bible Study class. Johnnie Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Feely, four sons, Rev. Leroy Feely, John D. Feely, Fredrick Feely,Kenneth Feely, two granddaughters , Bertha F. Fee, Bessie Williams, one grandson Fredrick Fee and one great grandsdaughter , Krystal Fee.She leaves to cherish her memories:her daughter, Claretta Adams( William),26 grandchildren, 45great grand children,33 great great grand children and two sister`s inl law, Pearline Barber and Buleau Barber of Rock Hill, SC.Funeral service will be held Wednesday February 24,2016 at First Mt. Zion Baptist Church 1515 Remount Rd. Charlotte, NC 28208. Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm and the service will follow at 1:00 pm ,interment  will take place at Liberty Hill Baptist Church 5725 Liberty Hill Rd. Catawba, SC 29704
