Hattie Wynn Williams extends deepest sympathy to the family of Janet Pharr. Memories of Janet were the years spent as students at Knoxville College, Knoxville, TN. Janet was inducted into the Gamma Mu Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc in the Fall of 1963. It was a pleasure having Janet as "big sister" to our "Fabulous 14" in Fall 1964. Soror Janet will always be remembered for her warmth and dedication to our beloved sisterhood.

Rosella (Eldridge) Jones and I are privileged to have known Janet through our Knoxville College Alumni Association. She will be remembered for her strong leadership qualities and devotion to our college and her craft as an educator. We extended our sincere condolences to her family Jerry A. Jones, M.D.

We would like to express our sincere sympathy to Janet Pharr's family and friends. Our relationship with Janet began at Knoxville College as students and later as active members of the Charlotte Chapter of Knoxville College Alumni. She was always very loyal to the college. Anna was also Janet's Delta soror. She will always remember how supportive she was of her "little sister". We both worked as special educators, and Janet's love of serving special needs students was apparent to all who knew her. SHE LEAVES A LEGACY OF COMMITMENT TO ALL STUDENTS THAT SHE HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF SERVING.
