I will be forever grateful for the service Mr. Turner provided as a counselor to me and my classmates at Cochrane Jr. High School in the turbulent 70s. He was an effective advocate for those of us who were bused from the West Side to Cochrane, and he always instilled in us a sense of HOPE. After my undergraduate college years, I found out Mr. Turner and I belong to Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. What an honor! Rest well my Brother and thank you!
