Dearest Lowe Family, You are in our thoughts and prayers. Our families were connected through AAU basketball. My husband Allen Thompson and Ivan Lowe, Sr. coached our son Alex and his son Isaiah with Ivan (Tui) Jr. assisting in several tournaments . We have such fond memories of this time. We’re praying for your family and offer our deepest condolences. May the peace of God be with you all. The Thompson family- Allen, Cassonda, Alex , and Trinity

My condolences to Mr. Ivan and Mrs. Natalie. Ivan and I played basketball at Vance together and summer AAU. Some of the best times of my life. Mr Lowe always treated me like a son and Tui always treated me like a person. It’s been over a decade but you never forget who your real family is. We love you Tui. Rest Easy brother.

Thank you to Ivan and Natalie for sharing your precious, first born baby boy with me. I am proud to be Tui’s Godmother and so proud of him and his kind heart. He was special from the moment he was born. My heart hurts knowing he is gone from Earth, but I rejoice knowing I will hug my Tui again. My prayers are for God to comfort his dear family and all who love him. What a glorious day it will be when we all reunite in Heaven.

Nephew, I’m at a loss for words. All of this suddenly became real while writing this. I already know where you are, and I see how many lives you have touched! I’ll be playing our song often. To Ivan, Nat, Isaiah, Imani, and Lai-Lai: We knew Tui. We experienced him, and we saw him through it all. Revelation 21:3-4 (KJV) "[3] And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. [4] And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." As the songwriter said, “I shall wear a crown, when it’s all over.” As Deacon Sanders August once said, “Servant, you fit a good fight, come on up a lil’ higher!” So, with that being said, Tui has his crown. He fought a good fight and has gone up higher!
