HARLON DIGSBY. September 28, 2014 The members of First Rising Mt. Zion Baptist Church were saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Harlon Digsby on September 18, 2014. To the family, we are sharing in your sorrow with our prayers, and heartfelt sympathy. Those we love do not go away they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, stilled loved, still missed, and very dear. Although it may be difficult in the days ahead for you, try to face the future bravely as your love one would want you to. Those we love remain with us, for love itself lives on. Though death leaves a heartache no one can heal, loves leaves a memory no one can steal. Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15: 55-57). May your heart find peace through the healing power of love. “For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16)”. To Mr. Digsby son , grandchildren, sister, Mrs. Mary Washington of First Rising Mt. Zion Baptist Church, and other member of the family. Please know that this hour of sorrow is only God’s will, for the beautiful memories of Mr. Harlon Digsby will forever live in your heart. We pray that the love of God will enfold you during this difficult period to help you heal with the passage of time. Just know that God walks with you and will never leave or forsake you. We encourage you to hold firm to your faith and lean on God for, He will provide you comfort during this time of sorrow. God’s yoke is easy and His burden is light. So we say to you today, “Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He will strengthen thine heart; Wait, I say on the Lord” (Psalm 27:14). Prayerfully Submitted on behalf of First Rising Mt. Zion Baptist Church Reginald M. Green, Sr. Rev. Reginald M. Green, Sr., Interim Pastor Harold J. Gilliard Deacon Harold J. Gilliard, Chairman, Board of Deacons Ministry
