I first met Gloria when me n Tacara went to Sumter, SC for a family cookout. She greeted me like family. The next time I met Gloria she became mama Gloria to me. When i decided to move to Charlotte, Nc she allowed me to stay with her n treated me like a daughter. She was so proud of me when i purchase my 1st home. She went with me to my closing. She told everyone she knew i had bought a house and how proud she was of me. She almost burned down my house trying to clean the stove, she was a happy n loving soul. I would go over to her house and we would talk about flowers and she gave me a few to plant in my yard. She was like another mother to me, she would always say" hey lil' girl... i will never hear those words from her but i can still hear her saying those words to me with a smile on her face n her arms open for a hug... love always shell

Gloria never met a stranger - she treated everyone like family, after speaking with them a few times, she always parted ways by saying "Love You." She was CONSISTENTLY loving & JOYFUL- when I first met her 11 years ago, I noticed she was ALWAYS happy & smiling, which forced me to ask, "What makes you so happy, Gloria?" Without hesitation, she replied, "JESUS, baby!" I arrived in Charlotte in 2005 with my 3 kids and no other family. Gloria embraced me and my kids immediately as if we were family. She was always there for me & my kids when no one else was. Words cannot express how much I will miss her AMAZING presence but she will always be with me in spirit. I will honor her memory by being more loving & generous- with my time and resources and helping people as much as I can as she did every day. Tacara, Gian and Anthony (Pooh)- please take comfort in knowing your mom will always be with you in spirit. Remember how many times your mom felt the presence of her dad after he passed. The same will be true with your mom. She will be smiling & cheering you on always. LOVE YOU SO MUCH GLORIA!!!

Were do I began we met through a mutual friend. And from that very moment we became sisters it's like GOD knew what he was doing when he brought you into my life. I'm going to miss so much about you - Your laugh, They way you always tell people "I love you" didn't even matter if you met them a hour ago. You were always such a positive rays of sunshine.. You always had a kind word for everyone. Your heart was as big as gold. I'm going miss watching you do your famous two step dance.. I just saw you and we were just planning on going out. My sweet angel you have touch so many people lives in this short time you were here on earth. I know my heart is aching and I can't began to imagine how your babies feel. My heart and prayers goes out to your children especially your daughter Tacara Jackson. I know your up there watching me saying "I love you". I love you too my sweet angel.
