I cannot think of a person that I have ever encountered that was quite like "Mama" Jones. Every time that she met you she always greeted you with that beautiful smile and that soft voice followed by a big hug and a kiss. She made me and my children feel loved and welcome. I met her in 2005 shortly after they began coming to Silver Mount and instantly we shared a bond. It was quite indescribable. I always wanted to fashion myself after her with the grace that she exuded a wife and a woman of God. I often spent countless hours with her and "Daddy" Jones gaining knowledge, sharing a meal or just laughing at the two of them sharing memories. The last time that I went to see her she had just returned from dialysis and even though she was in pain she was trying to make me and my baby feel at home. I pray that God will cover "Daddy" Jones, Bunch, Nikki, Lajuan, Jessica, her great grands, and her siblings in addition to her friends and family and surrogate children that she added on over the course of the years.
