Service Announcements

Mr. Eric Michael Roberts, 65, of Charlotte, NC passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Atrium Health Main. Celebration of his life will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church 7239 Tuckaseegee Rd. Charlotte, NC 28214. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am and the Service will follow at 12:00 pm. Interment will take place Friday, May 6, 2022 at 12:00 noon in the Saint Delight United Church of Christ 4123 US -401 Louisburg, NC 27549.

Eric Michael Roberts age 65 was born in Shelby, NC to the late William and Lillie Belle Roberts.

Eric was a graduate of T. Wingate Andrews High school in High Point.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from North Carolina State University and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University. During his 43 years in the Banking Industry, he earned the title of Senior Vice President.

Eric was married to Beverly White Roberts for 42 years, they were blessed with three children.  Eric was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, brother, steadfast family member, trusted friend, and faithful church member.

Eric was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church for over 25 years.  He served as Sunday School Teacher and Chairman of the Trustee Board. He also volunteered for Rooms in the Inn Ministry, the Nursing Home Ministry, Exodus Foundation and was a board member for the United Church Home Services.

Surrounded by his loving family, Eric transitioned peacefully on April 27, 2022.   Eric leaves behind to cherish his memory and celebrate his life wife, Beverly White Roberts of Charlotte; son, Charles Eric Roberts of Albemarle; daughters, Jennifer Roberts and Amber Roberts (Jaron) both of Charlotte; sister, Cheryl Roberts Shaw (Antoine) of Chicago; niece, Antoinette Shaw; nephew, William Shaw both of Chicago; as well as a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
