Mr. Eric Felton Miller 63 of Rock Hill, SC. passed away Sunday March 5,2017 at His Residence. Wake service will be held Thursday March 9,2017 at Long & Son Mortuary Chapel from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Funeral service will be held Friday March 10, 2017 at China Grove AME Zion Church 4601 Mt. Gallant Rd. Rock Hill, SC 29732. The remains will in state from 10:00 am – 11:50 am and the service will begin at 12:00 pm.Interment will be at Barber Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Eric F. Miller, son of Richard and Alice Miller, was born February 12, 1954 in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy Jean Miller.
Eric spent his early childhood years in York County, South Carolina. He graduated from Rock Hill High School in June 1972, and attended Winthrop University.
Eric quietly entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. Eric leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Eric F. Miller, Jr.; four brothers, Paul L. McFadden (Johnnie), Richard Miller, Jr. (Bobbie), Edwin Miller (Mary), and Clem Miller (Linnie); two sisters, Frances M. Young and Iris M. Battle (George), along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
