To the immediate family of Elsie D McDonald Young, Myself and Frenchelle Rhodes and Family send our heartfelt condolences . Before internet and cells phones, I recall Else writing letters to her Aunt Frenchelle from Germany on a regular basis. When she returned to the states, she made it a point to call and check on your well being. We would talk about everything under the sun in great detail. To me she was such a beautiful and sweet spirited person. I will truly miss our conversations filled with laughter and support. I miss you cousin. Love Always , Jeannie.

Heartfelt sympathy to the family with God’s comfort & presence, now and in the days ahead to all family and loved ones. Elsie was my incredible cousin who always kept lines of communication open among family all across the country. She would call family members and would visit if she was in close proximity. Her convos would begin “I’m calling to check on you and see how you are doing”. She had a caring spirit for others well-being, she also had a gift for Gab — I was prepared for long convos whenever we talked 🙂 She had a little comedian spirit within that made you laugh 🙂 I think that quality came your Mother & My Moms Sister Ruby who had the same spirit. Rest in Gods peace Cousin. Love you.
