"I'M ON MY WAY" Those are the words you would say picking up the phone because you knew I was running late. When I moved to Charlotte in 2000, I walked into the Johnston YMCA to register my son and you were the first person I saw. Ebony you embraced Damian and I and never looked back. You called me your sister and him your nephew. Your family was our family. It is times like this we sit and wonder, God why did you take such a wonderful person so soon. It is time like this God says, "well done". Well done Ebony, you loved others when they did not love themselves. Well done Ebony, you were always smiling and brightened someone's day. God said "well done Ebony, you accomplished your purpose in life, it is time to come home". Missed, but never forgotten. Thank you Ebony for being you! Hakiym and family our prayers are with you. Keep the faith and may blessings. Love Cindy & Damian

I am sorry for the loss of your dear Ebony. We struggle with the question of why something like this happens, why people even have to die at all. God hates when things like this happen. He has a purpose that includes "death being no more" -Rev. 21:3, 4, as well as promising to “undo” death with the resurrection of our loved ones – John 5:28, 29. Currently the world is "lying in the power of the wicked one", but not for much longer. Perfect health and perfect life await your loved one. This hope has helped me get through some tough times and I hope it helps you now. When some time has passed, feel free to visit www.jw.org for more comfort. Again, I am sorry for your loss. MN

Someone once said, "It's so hard to say goodbye" and they were correct. So I will say, "see you later my beloved friend." RIH and condolences to the bereaved family. #OneDayAtATime
