Earl the Pearl to many of us who played basketball with him at Tilton School and he was as classy off the court as on! I knew him to be humble, kind, and humorous, a friend to all. I know Tilton is proud to have him as an alumnus and I am grateful to count him as a friend. Sincere condolences to all his family.

Earl was an inspiration to us all at Tilton School in our time together there. I have thought of so many shared experiences, especially on our athletic teams. He will be remembered always. My sincere condolences to his family.

My sincere condolences to all of Earl’s family. I have not had the pleasure of meeting any of you but Earl was a significant person in my life. I was at Tilton when he was and he was a true bright spot in my experience. His warmth and laughter would always lift me up. I tried to be in touch with him over the years but never had the proper address. I am sorry for your loss. May God grant you peace and comfort.

So sorry for your loss. In 1967 Earl was my RA at Tilton School. I was a frightened freshman with not much real world experience. Earl helped every chance he could and always had a bright smile! I hope this great attitude and personality enlightened all those who came in contact with him
