The family here in Ohio send our condolences. My mom Yvonne Lyons wanted to be there for her sister but was unable to travel. We send our love and sympathy to our extended family.

A Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Cousin, and Friend, Delores Dianne Trapp's life didn't end with her death. In her lifetime, she touched many people's lives far and wide, and her memory and legacy will continue beyond her death. Dianne was born on January 4, 1948, in Charlotte, NC, and departed this life on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, in Jackson, Mississippi at the age of 74, surrounded by loved ones. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening. Dianne never met a stranger. Dedicated to improving her community, she would clean up litter throughout her neighborhood. She worked for the Veteran's Administration Medical Center as a pharmacy technician for many years before retiring. Throughout her life, Dianne received many awards for service and recognition. Dianne was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kristina Diann Trapp, and her parents Willie "Buddy" Trapp and Mary Wilson. She leaves to mourn her only child: Karl O. Trapp Sr. (Nancy); grandchildren: Gabby, Suvanna, Kelsey, Dani, and Karl Jr.; great-grandchildren: Sean, Saniya, Mekhi, and Aniya; her sisters Phyllis "Blondie" Trapp-Rice, and Betty Kay; her brother: Melvin "Butch" Trapp; her dear friends from Jackson, MS; and a host of relatives and friends.
