David Stephan Clark, of Indian Land (Sun City), SC, was born and raised in Buffalo, NY, and later resided in Bethel Park, PA and Plainsboro, NJ.  David, the beloved husband of Constance Clark, and father of DeAnna Clark, Devon Clark, Jaye Nias (Michael), Calvin Sparks-Clark, and Langston Clark passed on May 10, 2016 after a courageous battle with an illness.  David also leaves behind four siblings to cherish his memory, Judith Clark, Dennis Clark (Clare), Elaine Blyden and Barry Clark.  David was the beloved “G-Pop” to three grandchildren, Elyse Clark, and Ayinde and Anike Nias.  David was preceded on his journey by his parents, William Lawrence and Thelma Amelia Clark.  Services will be held on May 18, 2016 at 1p.m. at the Marvin AME Zion Church in Waxhaw, with the viewing to beginning at 12noon. Military rites and interment will take place in the church cemetery.
