Share your Memorial with Family & Friends
We aren’t nature people. Our family isn’t the family that’ll rent a cabin by the lake or head to the woods to roast s’mores. But, Uncle Chika changed that. He took a crew of indoor kids and had us climb a mountain. It was our first hike. And for some of us our last. Whether we were crying that it was too hot or questioning how much farther, he kept pushing us forward smiling and laughing and making jokes. Uncle Chika was always optimistic and jovial. That trip also gave us all an appreciation for working hard to reach a goal and that sometimes when the journey is difficult the reward at the end makes it all worthwhile. Any memory we shared included boisterous laughter, a healthy debate, and encouragement to be better and strive for more. Uncle Chika is leaving behind a legacy and he will truly be missed. Our hearts and prayers are with his family at this time. —Ndu, Chidi, Cindy, Junior, Onyii, and Amanda

My dear brother, Chika. Your passing was a big shock to me for I was just with you and some friends a couple of weeks prior. You were a good friend that was always ready to extend a helping hand. I pray that you Rest In Peace and pray that the ones you left behind will find comfort in the knowledge that you are with God Almighty.
